1. Who we are

These Terms of Purchase are between you and RTP Publishing, domiciled in Polk County, Florida ("RTP Publishing", "we", "our"), the publisher of the book Bancorruptcy and the Bancorruptcy documentary.

These Terms of Purchase do not create a membership, a subscription, or any ongoing relationship beyond the one-time transaction they describe. You ("you", "the Purchaser") do not become a member of RTP Publishing by completing a purchase.

By completing a purchase you agree to these Terms of Purchase in full.

2. What you are buying

You are buying a digital download — a one-page letter template (the Determination Letter) that you may send, under your own name and at your own discretion, to your own Congressional candidate or elected representative, asking their position on the two competing monetary value systems identified in Article I §8 cl. 5 of the Constitution For The United States and in the book Bancorruptcy: Value as a debt owed to bankers, or Value created by the people, for the people.

The download may include accompanying material — a short "how to send it" note, guidance on where to find your representative's mailing and email addresses, and suggestions on how to interpret a response or a non-response — at our discretion and as updated from time to time. What you receive at the point of purchase is what the checkout page describes at that point in time.

You are not buying:

• A service that sends the letter on your behalf.
• A service that collects, aggregates, reports, or publishes your representative's response.
• A membership in any association, including RTP Publishing.
• A subscription or any ongoing delivery.
• Legal, political, or electoral advice — see Section 8.

What you do with the letter after you download it is entirely your own civic activity, conducted as a private citizen of your state.

3. What it costs

The Determination Letter is sold on a name-your-price basis with a minimum of US$2.00. You may, at your discretion, pay any amount above the minimum; any amount above $2.00 is a voluntary contribution that supports the continued operation of RTP Publishing, including production of the book and documentary, site hosting, and research. It is not a separate product. It is not a tax-deductible charitable gift; RTP Publishing is not a 501(c) organisation and no receipt representing charitable deductibility will be issued.

The purchase is one-time. There is no auto-renewal and no stored card credentials for reuse.

Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor under their own terms, which you will see and accept at checkout. The processor, not RTP Publishing, is responsible for the security of your card details; RTP Publishing does not receive or store your card number.

4. Delivery

The download is made available to you at checkout and/or via an email link sent to the address you provide at checkout. If the download link is not delivered within a reasonable time, please contact us via the contact page and we will resend it.

If we update the Determination Letter after your purchase, we may, at our discretion, email the updated version to the address you used at checkout. We are not obliged to do so, but where we do, those updates are covered by the same licence as the original (Section 5).

5. What you may do with the download

Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to:

• Download, save, and print the Determination Letter.
• Fill in your own name, your representative's name, and any personalising detail.
• Send the completed Letter — by post, by email, by fax, or in person — to your own Congressional candidate or elected representative.
• Share your own experience of the process, including the response (or non-response) you receive, in ordinary private conversation and in your own public writing or speaking, on your own authority.

Your purchase does not grant you the right to:

• Resell, sublicence, or commercially distribute the Determination Letter or its derivatives.
• Republish the Letter in a book, newsletter, course, consulting product, or any other paid or monetised work.
• Use the Letter to offer a for-profit service to third parties (e.g., sending the Letter on behalf of paying clients).
• Remove or obscure the RTP Publishing attribution where present on the Letter.

6. Refunds

The Determination Letter is a digital product delivered immediately. Because of the nominal minimum price, the payment-processor fees associated with any refund, and the impossibility of "returning" a digital download, all sales are final. By completing payment you acknowledge and accept that no refund will be issued, whether requested before or after you have downloaded the file.

If you believe your payment was made in error (for example, a genuine duplicate transaction or a failed-delivery case where no download was ever provided), contact us via the contact page and we will resolve it in good faith.

7. Your data

We collect only the data we need to operate the purchase:

• The email address you use at checkout (to deliver the download and, where applicable, updates).
• Your payment confirmation (handled by our payment processor — we do not store your card number).

We do not:

• Publish, sell, rent, licence, or trade your email address.
• Add you to any mailing list unless you opt in.
• Track what you do with the letter after you download it.
• Collect, aggregate, or share information about the responses you receive from your representative.

You may request a copy of your data, or its deletion, via the contact page.

8. No legal, financial, political, or electoral advice

RTP Publishing, the book Bancorruptcy, the documentary, and the Determination Letter discuss historical, constitutional, and monetary matters. Nothing published or sold by RTP Publishing constitutes legal advice, financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, or the advice of any licensed professional. Nothing published or sold by RTP Publishing constitutes an instruction, endorsement, or recommendation to vote for, against, or in any particular way regarding any candidate or elected official. You are an adult citizen responsible for your own civic, legal, and financial decisions. Purchasing or sending the Determination Letter is your own private civic activity.

9. No warranty; limitation of liability

The Determination Letter is provided "as is". RTP Publishing makes no warranty that a representative will respond to it, that a response will be accurate or complete, that the Letter will achieve any particular outcome in your own voting decision, or that the Letter is free from error. The ten-day response window suggested in or with the Letter is a civic convention, not a legal requirement on any representative.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RTP Publishing's total liability to you under or in connection with these Terms of Purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the Determination Letter.

10. Intellectual property

The book Bancorruptcy, the Bancorruptcy documentary, the Determination Letter, and the content of this site are the intellectual property of Scott Bartle and/or RTP Publishing, as applicable. Your purchase grants you the licence described in Section 5 and no other right.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms of Purchase from time to time, for example to reflect changes in our practices, our payment arrangements, or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent change. Changes apply only to purchases made on or after the effective date of the change; purchases made before the change remain governed by the Terms that were in effect at the time of that purchase.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms, and the relationship between you and RTP Publishing, are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and, where applicable, the laws of the United States of America. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in or serving Polk County, Florida, and you and RTP Publishing each consent to the exclusive personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.

Nothing in this Section restricts either party's right to seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
